What does `licenseType = 0` mean?

A return value of licenseType = 0 from active() indicates that licence activation failed completely, causing Global.Init() to return false and triggering evaluation watermarks. To resolve activation, configure the 96-character serial key via Global.mSerial prior to initialisation:

// Set the 96-character activation serial before initialising the SDK
Global.mSerial = "YOUR_96_CHARACTER_SERIAL_KEY_HERE";
boolean isInitialized = Global.Init(context);
if (!isInitialized) {
    // licenseType evaluates to 0: key format mismatch, expired build date, or invalid package name
}

Ensure the key format matches the library build version. Generating a new-format key in your licence panel is required if migrating an older project to an engine released after 2022-03-10.

One common caveat: do not assign Global.mCompany, Global.mEmail, or Global.mKey on modern builds, as these properties are ignored by the native initialisation routine and cause Global.Init() to return false.
